Course on ‘Scanning Electron Microscopy’
On August 27-28, 2024, Damask Materials Solutions organised a comprehensive course on ‘Scanning Electron Microscopy’ (SEM) at TNB Research. The main speaker, Ts Dr. Badrol Ahmad, who holds a Master’s and PhD in Advanced Engineering Materials, shared his expertise throughout the event. The course aimed to:
- Provide theoretical knowledge on the principles of SEM operation.
- Develop an understanding of SEM imaging and its analytical capabilities.
- Enhance understanding of the parameters that influence image quality and accuracy in analytical results.
The course included both classroom lectures and demonstration sessions, allowing participants to become familiar with SEM construction and practical operations for imaging and analysis.
Seminar on ‘Hardness and Hardness Testing of Materials’
In collaboration with TNB Research Sdn Bhd, Damask Materials Solutions Sdn Bhd hosted a half-day seminar titled ‘Hardness and Hardness Testing of Materials’. The seminar, held at TNB Research in Kajang, attracted around 30 participants.
